Designer Notes
In this new family home, designed by the owner, the kitchen needed to reflect and compliment the style of this magnificent house as well as work for their busy family life. The aim was to also create a sense of balance.
A wood look with metal edge theme was chosen for the cabinetry doors; Quarella Quartz with Waterfall Edges. The cabinetry was chosen for not only its durability and stain resistance, but also the ability to withstand heat of up to 180 degrees.
The pull-out oil cabinet, next to hob, eliminates the need to continually access from the pantry. Lots of drawers were a requirement of this kitchen; hence the use of the undersink drawer system.
The Island with Waterfall Edges creates a centre to this large kitchen. It has drawers housing Orgaline cutlery inserts, and crockery, whilst the drawers on the other side of island house a pullout drinks cabinet.
The end result is a functional, practical kitchen with good traffic flow and plenty of workspace.

Features
Bi-folding pantry doors cut down on space
into floor area when compared to standard
doors. They also allow for easy access

The island features extra deep drawers
for liquor storage. This pullout drinks
cabinet also have soft closing returning.
The aluminium glass doors were chosen
to give an open feel to this area of the
kitchen and also to reflect the architecture
of the home.
